Recycled Art

Our 4th, 5th and 6th grade students from Ms. Stringfield's, Ms. Bolas' and Ms. Perfect's classes were combined during Enrichment  for an exercise in art and ecology!  Students learned the sustainable method of recycling materials in artistic pursuits and collaborated together to make Jar-Lid Sun-Catchers to adorn the windows at home.  This is one example of how we can make a positive impact on our community at school and at home.

Students cooperate , collaborate and enjoyed constructive conversations in their quest to ideate and innovate in line with our core values.

Let there be light!

Students design their jar lids on their i-Pads, sketch them out and use a variety of colorful materials to add verve and life to their creations.

Smiles are like the sun!

Ready with the bat signal!

Blooming with creativity!

Ms. Perfect utilizes a glue gun to secure the lanyards to the art pieces.

It's always fun when we get together for in-person enrichment at LLA!!!
