Pizza Social with Phase 10 Math Games

The 4th, 5th, & 6th grade classes were treated to pizza topped off with a heapin' seasoning  of friends and fun on Friday!

Somehow, the delicious treats attracted the most students we have welcomed on campus all year!!

The LLA culture of community and care is flourishing this year!

The students were so patient and courteous as they waited their turn for more grub.

The mutual support, generosity and preparation by our teachers and office staff was tremendous to behold!

Let the games begin!

LLA Teachers in grades 4, 5 & 6 collaborated and planned together a race game called  Phase 10.  It is a math pattern recognition activity run that is similar to the language of coding.

Students diligently take their notes and calculations before the organized relay begins.

Our teachers are always participating as excellent guides, mentors and coaches as they facilitate not only limitless learning, but limitless fun and joy as well

Enrichment time can be a fruitful blend of physical activity (PE), friendship, community building, mathematical expression, teamwork and delightful sharing of bread all rolled into one great afternoon!
