We just cannot end this school year without giving a HUGE THANK YOU to all our amazing and wonderful Parent Volunteers starting with our outstanding PTA Team for all their hard work, not to mention all our Parent Classroom Volunteers, our Program Coordinators who stepped up to the plate to lead our Parent Liaisons, Art Docents, Playground Pals, and so on and so forth. All our TK students had an amazing Zoo petting day last Friday. It was the perfect day and the perfect soothing experience we all had, including for us staff. We could not have ended the week in a better way. Just check out these pictures! 🤗🐓🐖🐑🦆🐇🐗

Oh boy, so much is happening at Bernardo we can barely keep up. Our Bernardo Art Show was Awesome! We hope all our families enjoyed it, as well as, our Open House last week. The artwork looked amazing and it was great to see work that spanned all grade levels. A huge thank you to our Art Show Coordinators for all the planning, along with our incredible team of Parent Volunteers who helped with the set-up, and those who stayed after to help with the take-down. A special thank you to our amazing classroom Art Docents who led the art projects all throughout the school year. Our students received on-going, engaging, and enriching art lessons that they absolutely loved, and the projects displayed reflected the amazing instruction our students received!

Today is Red Shoe Day! Our first graders are excited to collect your donations out in front of the school with large red shoes during drop-off and pick-up. All generated funds will go to support the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) Foundation! We're hoping everyone will consider donating at least one dollar to support a family in need during difficult times while their child is in the hospital. We hope you all had an awesome Spring Break, we're so happy to see you all back in school! We also want to show off some newly donated "Mushroom Stools" that were handmade by Ms. Jess' amazing daughter Cyrah and her stagecraft class at Orange Glen High School, all for our Bernardo students.
