If you love art you most likely visited our Bernardo Art display at the 13th Annual smART Festival last month at the California Center for Arts in Escondido. Here are some pictures for those who were not able to make it. Enjoy!

Hey everyone, so much has been happening at Bernardo these past few months and we wanted to share some of these special moments with you before we go on break. For starters, here is a video link to see Mr. Lyche get spray painted by the students who won for best sponsors of our Color Run. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

Stop Sign Send Off for Ms. Cindy this Friday Morning. It is bittersweet news that Ms. Cindy, our spunky smiling crossing guard, is transitioning to a classroom aide position at another school. While some kindergarten students will be very blessed, this means she will no longer be helping us cross Bernardo Avenue each day. We will miss her smile, her ability to remember all of the kids' names, and her love of dum dums. 😀 Thank you so much for making our mornings bright, wishing you all the best! 🥰
Cindy wanted to share the following with everyone:
"Thank you to the staff, parents, and students for welcoming me with open arms and making me part of this wonderful family here at Bernardo. I will miss every one of you. From the bottom of my heart, Miss Cindy"

This week is your last chance to go through the Lost & Found! We'll have items set up along the bike rack fences up front on Family Lunch Day for parents to come by and see what you can claim. After Family Lunch Day, we will be donating any leftover items to charity.
On a related note, please consider writing your child's name on the tag of any jackets/sweatshirts/water bottles/lunch pales, etc., as we always check to see if we can reunite found items with their owners before donating. Otherwise, thank you so much for your contributions.
