Yesterday's 5th Grade Field Trip to BizTown in San Diego was a great experience for our future Bernardo Entrepreneurs. Everyone came back super excited & parents returned super hopeful for their children!

It was so chilly this morning that Mr. Lyche's hair was turning white, lol, but everyone kept cozy with their Pajama's for our last Red Ribbon Day, and Mr. Kwiatkowski was keeping us warm with some great dance moves. Pumpkin Season is so much fun! We had our TK students enjoy a fun chilly morning with their pumpkin hats & went to the playground for a Mini Pumpkin Hunt. Yeay, they were all so happy to find one!

We also had a special guest come up, Mr. Scott, who joined us to do our special dance, and finally the Spirit Wear Award was given out today to those classrooms who participated the most last week for our Crazy Hat Event! Awesome turn out for Crazy Hat Day, it really brightened up our Friday Morning Assembly. Thank you to all who wore yellow & especially to those who donated for Caps for the Cure Cancer Research, we collected just over $1,500, yeay! Can't wait to see you tonight at our Family Fall Night!!! Have a great weekend!!!

Earlier this week, Mr. Oden's 5th grade class got their creative juices flowing by starting this year's art classes with a multi-media mountain project. Using watercolors, markers, acrylics & colored pencils, these artists showed they are truly Mountaineers! You can find these beauties on Mr. Oden's classroom window if you'd like to take a peek!
